Abstract
Many excavation failures are caused by the
wrong or careless design and due to poor management .The groundwater is one of
the most difficult problems in excavation work for deep foundation in high rise
building having high water table. The heavy inflow of seeping water may cause
erosion and collapse of the sides of foundation trench. Thus it is necessary to
make a suitable dewatering, drainage and retaining wall design with analysis
for high rise building construction. Based on experience of dealing with
groundwater and soil, we will make an evaluation of one such construction site
and will present a new design method which will be cost effective, safe and time
saving .Thus this project report includes the optimization of dewatering
process and to make effective method for excavation of high rise building.

High rise building construction requires
effective and efficient management .Traditional method of dewaterization is
sometimes seems to be costly, time consuming and not safe. The engineers at the
site use the pumping method which causes wastage of time and money and also
sometimes retaining wall construction is not safe due to deep excavation. It is
necessary to develop method for dewaterization of the excavated pit for
construction work to be carried out and solving the problem by extracting the
water quickly and safely by proper retaining wall
management in basement construction.

outcome
We will try to make a new cost effective,
time saving & safe method of dewaterization for excavation and basement
construction of high rise buildings.
